Catherine Okonkwo
Director
Catherine has a BA in Politics from a Russell Group University and an LLB Law. Her legal pursuits took her to the CQC via a law firm where she worked on clinical negligence and inquest cases defending the NHS. She spent just under five years as a Hospital Inspector before working for the Secretary of State for Health as a data briefer during the pandemic. Following that, Catherine worked in the Harley Medical district as a Director of Operations. Catherine’s background in patient safety, change management and board level expertise forms the basis for the excellent quality governance advice she provides.
Catherine is an inner-city school governor and a governor on the board of the NHS Foundation Trust where she was born – Kingston Hospital NHS FT. Also part of Catherine’s career portfolio is her role as a Patient Safety Partner at NHS NEL ICB.
Mickael Iqbal
Director
Mickael Iqbal brings over a decade of experience in healthcare regulation and compliance to COMI Health. As a former CQC lead inspector, he has successfully guided numerous healthcare providers to achieve regulatory excellence.
Mickael’s background in quality management and patient care, including roles within the private and NHS sectors, informs his expertise in governance and risk management.
